Hi, I’m Mary-Beth, a self-taught cookie decorator. What started as a way to help with a fundraiser for a non-profit in town, ended up becoming a passionate hobby. In 2016 I took on the challenge of creating 100 Haiti Flag sugar cookies for an event. I scoured the internet and soon found a whole community of cookie decorators on You Tube, Instagram & Facebook. I spent many hours pouring over these sites to learn the art of cookie decorating. Although my first set of cookies were average at best, I found myself attempting to perfect this craft around every holiday season and was able to refine my royal icing and cookie recipes. Soon I was being asked to make cookies for friends and family especially around holidays and birthdays. Fast forward 3 years, when CT approved a “Cottage Food Law”…. a critical point in starting a business in my home!
